Fresno PAL Running Club brings Officers & other staff of the Fresno Police Department's Competitive Running team together with students in our community who love to run to build endurance, character and strength through Running. We also provide mentorship to our PAL Athletes which allows them to stay on track in their personal life, school, and other sports and activities they are involved in. Age requirement to join is 14-17.
Molly and Jadyn began training with Officer Dozier and other Fresno PD Running Team members Park Ranger Toshak Yukoop, Homicide Detective Rudy Montoya, and Cadet II Ben Fan in July 2024. They continued for 16-weeks of training to run the Two Cities Half Marathon on November 3,2024. After hundreds of miles of running, and training both girls finished the half marathon with amazing finish times for first time half marathoners. Jadyn ran the Half Marathon in 2:00 placing 5th in her age group. Molly finished the half marathon in 1:56 placing 3rd in the half marathon. We at Fresno PAL are extremely proud of the dedication and sacrifice these two young ladies made to be successful at this race!
